These earrings are crafted from blue loose wax, designed in the shape of a banana leaf and accented with a square-cut garnet gemstone set on a shepherd hook wire. The natural fluidity of working with loose wax allowed for a freeform silhouette that evolved into an elegant leaf, giving the piece an organic, flowing quality. At the same time, the strong geometry of the garnet at the center introduces structure and contrast. This interplay of soft, natural lines with a bold, defined stone creates a balanced and striking design. The earrings are made from 925 sterling silver, using recycled metal, and are handcrafted in New York City.
