  • A different styles of Lever backs will be provided to complete your design
  • A different type of lost wax sheets will be provided
  • Participants will have create a custom design earrings
  • In this workshop, you’ll be introduced to the art of wax carving, where you’ll explore the history and significance of lost-wax carving in jewelry making. 
  • you will practice carving techniques and master the art of sculpting wax
  • We will cover finishing touches, exploring different refining and polishing methods to prepare your wax creation for casting.

Do I need experience and what will I create?

No experience is required. This workshop is designed for beginners and anyone interested in jewelry making or creative exploration.
You will create your own wax model, such as a ring, pendant, or earrings.

What will I learn during the workshop?

You will be introduced to wax carving, including tools, materials, and design principles.
You’ll practice sculpting techniques, from basic shaping to detailed carving, and learn how to refine and finish your wax piece for casting.

What do I take home after the workshop?

You will leave with a finished wax model and the knowledge of how to prepare it for casting.

After the session, you can either:

  • Leave your piece with us to be cast and picked up later
  • Or continue refining it independently and bring it back for casting

Is casting included and can I choose different materials?

Casting and finishing are included only for sterling silver pieces.
If you would like your design cast in gold or platinum, this can be arranged after the workshop. Pricing will depend on the final weight of your piece.

What should I bring and how do I prepare?

Bring your creativity, any sketches or ideas you want to develop, and wear comfortable clothing, as wax carving can get slightly messy.
