About the Workshop :
In the Proof in the Wax Workshop, you’ll enjoy learning a new skill while sipping on a refreshing glass of wine in a fun and intimate setting.You will explore the fundamental techniques of wax carving under the guidance of Ranin, the founder and designer of the brand. During the class, you’ll learn the intricate process of transforming raw wax into a wearable jewelry piece made entirely by your own hands.
Participants will have the option to create a custom design such as:
• A ring
• A pendant
• Other small sculptural forms
All tools and materials are included in the cost of the workshop.
Casting and finishing are included only for the sterling silver option.If you are interested in casting your piece in solid gold or platinum, please reach out to us after purchasing and attending the class. Pricing will be determined based on the final piece and its weight. This class is open to beginners. Participants will also receive an information box outlining the techniques covered, along with a tool and material list.
What You’ll Leave With:
This workshop is skill-based, and you will leave with:
• A finished wax model
• The knowledge of how to properly prepare your piece for casting
At the end of the session, participants may choose to:
• Leave their wax piece with us to be cast and later picked up at our Brooklyn shop or Continue working on it independently and drop it off at a later time, and we will take care of the rest
What You Will Learn

As the class progresses, you will practice carving techniques and master the art of sculpting wax — from basic forms to intricate detailing — gradually bringing your design to life. Finally, we will cover finishing touches, exploring different refining and polishing methods to prepare your wax creation for casting.
