This custom redesign was such a rewarding project from start to finish. Our client brought in her original engagement ring with the vision of transforming it into something more organic and personal. We carefully removed every stone, explored several design concepts, and refined the design multiple times until it truly reflected the look she had imagined. The original ring featured a beautiful Vallucci sapphire, six round diamonds, and a single baguette diamond. In the final redesign, we chose to reuse four of the round diamonds, the baguette diamond, and the stunning blue sapphire. We made the new ring in 10k yellow gold, giving the original stones a completely new life. One of my favorite details is how we gave the original stones a new story. Three of the diamonds were set together on one band, while the blue sapphire became the centerpiece of the main ring, accented by the baguette diamond. Every element was thoughtfully reimagined, preserving the sentimental value of the original ring while creating a completely new heirloom. Watching this transformation come to life is exactly why I love custom jewelry. It’s never just about making a new ring—it’s about honoring the past while creating something that will be cherished for generations to come.
